Release life cycle
Starting with version 3.5, OpenSSL has adopted the following changes to the Release Strategy:
- LTS Releases:
- Supported for at least five years
- with a new LTS version designated at least every two years.
- Non-LTS Releases:
- Supported for a minimum of 13 months (from 3.5 onwards).
